Sigmund-Thun-Klamm is a gorge located in the Austrian state of Salzburg, not far from Kaprun. The gorge is about 320 meters long and its walls are up to 32 meters high. The river Kapruner Ache flows through the gorge. At the end of the gorge you will reach the Klammsee lake.

The entrance fee is €6.50 per adult, more parking spaces are available.

A short hiking trail around the Bürgkogel peak (950 m) can be planned nearby.

This gorge impressed me much better than the Leichtensteinklamm. Beautiful wooden bridges, a river digging into the rock massif and a cool climate that refreshes you in the summer.
